MRM InTheBlk
A significant challenge in the advertising industry is its lack of diversity. To address this issue, four other creatives and I established a Black Affinity Group at our agency, focused on supporting the growth and wellness of Black and African American employees. Our mission is to transform the culture of advertising and increase Black and African American representation through support, advocacy, and outreach. InTheBlk aims to inspire others to join this mission and help shift the industry for the better.
Our hard work, dedication, and creativity were recognized at the 2024 Adcraft D Show Awards, where we proudly received a Silver D Show Award for our insightful video. Conceptualized, organized, and directed by Black creatives and produced by Woodward Original, this award highlights the importance and success of our initiative, reinforcing our commitment to excellence in the industry.
